Deskripsi / Sinopsis
By the end of 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic has already claimed more than 1.8 million lives globally, and eighty-three million people have contracted the virus.
As this volume goes to press, governments are struggling to face a second wave of contaminations, which many anticipate will be deadlier than the first. The global economy is expected to contract by 4.4 percent in 2020. At least ninety million are more at risk of falling into extreme poverty – potentially rising to as many as 150 million in 2021, when the temporary fixes adopted to cushion the most severe impacts of the crisis will be phased out
